My Daily Life or My Daily Routine Paragraph
I am a student and I always try to follow a fixed routine in my everyday life. I am an early riser. So I get up as early as 5-30 in the morning in all seasons. Then I wash my hands and face, have a hot drink and do some physical exercises. I take my breakfast at 6-30 and then settle down to study. My study is over by 9.30 a.m. After this, I take a bath and have my meal within 9-45 a.m. I normally start for school at about 10-00 a.m. by bus. It takes twenty minutes to reach my school. I stay and study at school between 10-45 a.m. and 4 p.m. During this time, I am very serious and sincere and listen to my teachers very attentively. Sometimes I play with my classmates during a short break. After the school is over, I come back home by 4-30 p.m. and have some refreshment. I then go to the playground to play football or cricket with my friends. My evening study starts at 6-30 p.m. and continues till 9-30 p.m. Then I watch TV programmes especially the news in English and have my dinner at 10-00 p.m. I go to bed at 10-30 p.m. But on Sundays and other holidays, I do not follow this fixed routine. My day starts as I leave my bed at cock-crow. After washing my hands and face I walk in the field adjacent to our house for about half an hour. It is pleasant in summer, but not so in winter, when it is very annoying to get up even at six. Then I feel like having a second spell of sleep. But I must get up, because my mother won’t allow me to remain in bed after six.
After the morning walk I begin my studies and continue up to 7 a.m. when I have my breakfast. Then I start reading again, preparing the lessons for the day. After finishing my daily tasks, I take a rest for a few minutes. Then I take my bath, have my meal and walk to school. At school I am serious, sincere and attentive to what the teachers teach. Sometimes I play with my classmates during a short break. Our school breaks up at 4 p.m. Back home, I take some tiffin. After having a little rest I hurry to the playground and spend a couple of hours there playing with my friends. Then I come back home as darkness falls. Washing my hands and feet, I sit at my desk and read for three hours. Then I spend some time with my parents, hearing stories and news. Grandfather sometimes comes in and goes on narrating his varied experiences of life. Sometimes he becomes very emotional and then we find it very difficult to stop him. However, I generally go to bed at about half past ten after having my supper.
This is, in short, my daily routine of work. But I don’t follow this routine all the days of the week. There are departures from it on Sundays and holidays. On these days one will find me very busy with my.
