Communal Harmony

India is a birthplace of several religions – Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Shikhism. Some great saints were born in this soil. They practised, preached and propagated their religions throughout the country. The Indian are in general peace loving people. The Muslims came in India and made this land their home. Hindu-Muslim unity was achieved during the British rule. People of India lived together with the spirit of unity. Tolerance and love of peace are the glorious tradition of the land. But the communal politics for the political mileage has recently spoilt the peace of this country. We must face it with force. For peace, prosperity and progress of the country communal harmony, religious tolerance and a sense of oneness are necessary. Our country is committed to secularism. A nation cannot remain united without the feeling of brotherhood among the people of different religious groups. So a sense of security and social justice must be met to all communities of the country.
